The overall organizational structure of the laboratory is as follows:

Party Committee: The laboratory has established a Party committee to play a central political role and provide political and ideological support.

Personnel Department: The laboratory possesses independent personnel rights. It relies on Tsinghua University to formulate personnel systems specifically for national key laboratories, systematically addressing personnel appointment issues such as establishment, professional titles, incentives, and benefits.

Director: The laboratory director is full-time and responsible for the overall management of the laboratory.

Academic Committee and Board of Directors (Management Committee)

Tsinghua University has established a Board of Directors chaired by the President, which makes decisions on major matters concerning the laboratory. It also sets up an Academic Committee to provide constructive opinions and suggestions for the development of the laboratory and to oversee improvements. Tsinghua University has established a Strategic Advisory Committee to provide strategic advice for the construction and development of the laboratory. Additionally, Tsinghua University has set up dedicated service institutions to serve the construction of the laboratory.
