The research directions of the State Key Laboratory of Power System Operation and Control include three areas: New Power System Safety Control and Economic Operation, Major Equipment for Power Conversion and Transmission, and Basic Materials for Power Energy and Power Devices. The laboratory is dedicated to addressing significant scientific and technological challenges in the construction and operation of new power systems. It aims to break through the foundational theory of safe operation of new power systems, solve key technological bottlenecks such as power energy devices and major equipment, and provide technological support for the country's "dual carbon" strategy.
Direction One: New Power System Safety Control and Economic Operation
Direction Two: Major Equipment for Power Conversion and Transmission
Direction Three: Basic Materials for Power Energy and Power Devices
